Mexican composer, Samuel Zyman (Born in 1956) studied composition with Mexican composer Humberto Hernández Medrano as well as piano and conducting at the National Conservatory of Music. He then undertook his masters and doctoral studies at the Juilliard School of Music, New York. Samuel Zyman is acknowledged as one of the leading Mexican composers on the international scene today. His compositional output includes two symphonies, orchestral works, five concertos, song cycles, a guitar sonata, and chamber music.
