Carl Maria von Weber was born in Germany in 1786 and was a talented pianist, guitarist, pianist and composer. In 1798, he began studies with Michael Haydn and later studied with Georg Joseph Vogler in Vienna. He wrote several well-known operas as well as concerti, piano and vocal music amongst a vast array of other music.
