Twelve Fantasias for Flute Solo TWV 40:2-13
Editor: Marion Beyer
Notes on performance practice: Rachel Brown

Telemann’s 12 Fantasias enriched the solo flute repertoire in the first half of the 18th century. His Fantasias were published in 1727 and Henle’s edition is based on Telemann’s print, which the publishers have reproduced as a facsimile in the edition.
Flute expert Rachel Brown has provided a commentary with details regarding performance practice.
