This is a must have product for the developing soloist! Benjamin Louis Paul Godard (1849-1895) was a French violinist and Romantic-era composer. In 1863, he studied at the Paris Conservatoire Godard under Henri Vieuxtemps (violin) and Napoléon Henri Reber (harmony). His compositional output included eight operas, five symphonies, two piano concertos, two violin concertos, string quartets, violin and piano sonatas, piano works and a multitude of songs. He later became a Professor at the Paris Conservatoire in 1887.
