This book enhances the technical, creative, and musical development of advanced intermediate flautists through etudes, solo repertoire, orchestral excerpts, duets, and contemporary techniques.  This album covers the major and relative minor keys of Ab, E, Db, B, and Gb.

Lesson plans are presented in a clear and logical sequence with activities helping develop tone, vibrato, technique, and musicianship. The phrasing guides, practice suggestions, and prelude activities expand on the pedagogical approach used in FLUTE 101 and FLUTE 102.

Composers include:

  • Karl Joachim Andersen (1847-1909)
  • Gaetano Donizetti (1797-1848)
  • Pierre-Octave Ferroud (1900-1936)
  • Christoph Gluck
  • Benjamin Godard (1849-1895)
  • George Frideric Handel (1685-1759)
  • Emile Pessard
  • Wilhelm Popp
  • Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767)
