Michael Regan

Regan (1947-) studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he learned from notable teachers such as Peter Wishart, Buxton Orr, Dennis Dance, and Patric Standford. Following his studies, Michael taught theory and composition at the London College of Music until 1997. He earned a B. Mus. degree from Durham University in 1973 and an M.Mus. degree in Composition with distinction from the University of West London in 1997. ]

From 1997 onwards, he combined his teaching responsibilities with examining for LCM examinations in various countries including the U.K., Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. After retiring from examining in 2015, Michael has focused more on composition and now teaches piano and theory privately.
