This ethereal work for solo flute is a much loved piece in the flute repertoire. ‘La Fille aux Chevaux De Lin’ (The Girl with the Flaxen Hair) is the eighth piece in Debussy’s first book of preludes, written between late 1909 and early 1910. French composer, Claude Debussy was born n 1862 and was a gifted pianist. Aged 11, he studied at the Conservatoire. at age 11.
