Written in 1953, Bozza – Bozza Trois Impressions-Flute and Piano-Leduc consists of 3 movements. The first is named after a waterfall near to where Bozza lives at the time. The second sets your imagination off into mountains, springs and valleys as a nymph. The third is a mischievous dance with a flamboyant cadenza to show off the flautist’s skills. 1. La Danse d’elke French contemporary composer and violinist Eugène Joseph Bozza remains one of the most prolific composers of chamber music for wind instruments. Bozza wrote music for a mix of ensembles including five symphonies, operas, ballets, large choral work, wind band music, concertos, and also much work for large brass or woodwind ensembles. There are over 250 known published works as well as a wealth of manuscripts.
