Originally written for English Horn (or Alto Saxophone), this version of Bozza’s Divertissement, Op. 39 was transcribed for flute by Arthur Ephross.  The original for English Horn and a transcription for Alto Clarinet by Arthur Ephross are also available from the publisher.

French contemporary composer and violinist Eugène Joseph Bozza remains one of the most prolific composers of chamber music for wind instruments. Bozza wrote music for a mix of ensembles including five symphonies, operas, ballets, large choral work, wind band music, concertos, and also much work for large brass or woodwind ensembles.  Bozza has over 250 known published works as well as a wealth of manuscripts.
