Barber Canzone-Flute and Piano-Schirmer
Barber Canzone-Flute and Piano-Schirmer is an arrangement from the 2nd mvt of his piano Concerto Op.38a. Samuel Barber was born in 1910 in Pennsylvania and began composed his first piece around the age 7 followed by an opera aged ten. At the tender age of 14, he won a place at the Curtis Institute studying voice, piano, and composition and later studied conducting with Fritz Reiner. His intensely lyrical ‘Adagio for Strings’ has become one of the most recognizable and beloved compositions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZMb6TUZNGw
