Altus 1000 Series Alto Flutes
Altus 1000 Series Alto Flutes creates a wonderful rich sound across the range of the instrument, with incredible projection, flexibility and intonation.
The 1000 features a .925 Sterling silver headjoint and body with Sterling silver-plated mechanism, and extruded tubing with drawn and rolled tone holes. It is equipped with a C foot. Its specially crafted system is in place to reduce stress and strain on the body, creating a comfortable play.
For over 25 years, Altus has crafted flutes that embody the ideal marriage of vintage inspiration and modern technology. Created and handmade by Shuichi Tanaka, each Altus flute reflects his passion to produce the finest playing flutes available utilizing the finest of materials, handwork and artistry.

Product Delivery
- All our instruments are dispatched within the UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery unless otherwise requested with a standard flat-rate of £12 per instrument.
- All Flutes Plus endeavour to dispatch your order by return and availability of stock if received before 2.30pm.
- For delivery outside the UK a secure courier service is used for overseas shipment. Delivery charges will vary depending on location and weight of goods.
