C.P.E. Bach also had an enviable reputation as a performer and teacher.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe composed a vast number of works including concerti, symphonies, chamber music, songs, religious music and organ works amongst others.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1740 he was appointed harpsichordist to Frederick II of Prussia.
