The repertoire here has been most carefully chosen. Each tune has a specific teaching function: it may introduce a note or rhythm give practice over awkward fingerings or promote good tone production. The graded note recognition games and rhythm practices are designed to help with note reading. There are also plenty of less familiar and original pieces for sight-reading.
