Paul Harris

A collection of repertoire books of enjoyable, interesting, and stimulating material for use in the early stages of learning. Paul Harris has established an international reputation as one of Britain’s leading educationalists. He studied clarinet and conducting at the Royal Academy of Music.

He has well over 200 publications to his name; most are concerned with music education dealing primarily with stimulating and helping young players to develop their musical skills. His compositions also include a number of extended and more serious works.

Recently he has made a major contribution to the English National Curriculum. He is an examiner for the ABRSM and adjudicates at music festivals and various national competitions.

Sally Adams

With a degree in Music Education, Sally has shared her expertise as a Flute and Recorder teacher across various schools, including Bedford Modern, Headington, and Stowe. Presently, she holds the position of Head of Woodwind at Bloxham School.

Sally has served as an advisor to both the ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall examination boards. She played a vital role in establishing the Music Medals exams for Flute and Recorder.

Renowned as a composer and arranger, Sally has published a wide range of music for the recorder and flute. Her notable contribution is the highly acclaimed flute method called ‘Flute Basics’, published by Faber Music. As a performer, Sally has participated in diverse ensembles. Her interests encompass improvisation, pop, and world music.
