Bolling Suite-Flute and Jazz Piano Trio-Hal Leonard . This suite in seven parts is composed for a ‘classic’ flute and a ‘jazz’ piano.
It is possible to play the whole piece with only flute and piano, but bass and drum parts are included for the complete Suite.

Born in 1930, French composer, Claude Bolling is an Internationally celebrated Jazz musician, pianist and composer. He studied at the Nice Conservatory and was already considered a proficient jazz pianist by the age of 14. He heavily influenced the jazz scene in the 1960’s and later became great friends with the legendary Oscar Peterson.
He has composed an array of music including original sound tracks, music for over 100 films. Bolling has a particular fondness for cross over music combining classical, baroque and jazz elements in his compositions.
His collaboration with famous flautist, Jean Pierre Rampal and his ‘Suite for flute and jazz piano trio’ remained in the top 40 charts in the US for a record 530 weeks (approx ten years).
