SD Systems LCM70 Flute Microphone
SD Systems LCM70 Flute Microphone reaches the highest standards in miking, for the classical as well as jazz and pop flute. Due to eminent electronic research, the LCM70 performs a smoothly balanced frequency response that satisfies the most exigent musicians and technicians.
World’s 1st and finest manufacturer of Instrument Microphones, SD Systems cover all acoustic instruments. Their products illuminate your inspiration live on stage and in the studio field, giving you freedom of movement and pure natural sound reproduction.
The SD Systems – LCM70 flute microphone uses a specific, unidirectional condenser microphone. It comes with a removable pop shield to decrease air and tonguing sounds. The microphone attaches above your mouthpiece, via a rubber-dampened clamp and silver plated stand. This reduces the noice pick-up through the clamp itself. Also, the pre amp unit has a volume control, tone control & standby switch.
SD Systems opened in 1981, Amsterdam, Holland. The founders were musicians. Serge Schrier, present director of SD Systems, was playing in the rock circuit at the time where he met Rob Dugour, guitarist and sax player. Both worked jobs during the daytime, performing in the evening and in their spare time, developed equipment in the garage. Subsequently, SD system products are desirable by the active, touring musician. Knowing the microphone is designed and tested by experienced performers, with knowledge of the desires of amplified performance, is reassuring to the customer.
